The Canada Community Revitalization Fund (CCRF) is helping communities across Canada build and improve community infrastructure projects so they can continue to rebound from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The fund supports projects that build new community infrastructure and revitalize existing assets, bring people back to public spaces safely and stimulate local economies.
This week, Tony Van Bynen, Member of Parliament for Newmarket-Aurora, on behalf of Minister Filomena Tassi, announced over $255,000 in Bradford West Gwillimbury to improve Taylor Park.
Taylor Park was built over 20 years ago and the Town will use these funds improve it with the addition of a new accessible natural playground, updating existing playground equipment, mixed use sports courts, a community garden, a shade structure, and tree planting.
