The Newmarket Food Pantry is an organization that provides emergency supply of foods to those in need. Through this work, they also provide supplementary nutritional support to those who cannot meet their dietary needs on their own.
The COVID-19 pandemic has been challenging to every Canadian, but especially to the most vulnerable in our communities. The Newmarket Food Pantry has played a key role in helping make sure that no one has to choose between paying their bills or buying groceries.
While following public health guidelines to keep clients, volunteers, employees safe from COVID-19, the Newmarket Food Pantry has worked tirelessly to fight against hunger in our community. Their hard work continues to have an immediate impact in our community.
Volunteers, donors, community partners and stakeholders from across Newmarket and East Gwillimbury also play a huge role in ensuring the organization has enough in their pantry to help every individual and family in need of assistance.
